Exercise #6

Okay, I'm doing this exercise (after someone explained it to me further). I seem to read the instructions, I think I understand, then 5 minutes later I wonder what I'm supposed to do! Anyway, I did check out Flickr Color Pickr and Spell With Flickr. Color Pickr is very easy to get addicted to! I found some really cool pictures, mostly of flowers and ocean life. Nature is very appealing to us, isn't it. The Library Trading Cards were fun to look at. A trading card of my own is questionable!

Gone With the Wind

I found this picture while doing this exercise on Flickr ( yes, I am behind, but I've got all year!) Anyway, I love this picture! Gone With the Wind is one of my favorite movies, and that dress is probably my favorite dress that Scarlett wears. For those of you who haven't seen the movie, this dress is the one Scarlett wears to the barbeque at Twelve Oaks. According to the posted comments, several women would like the dress in an adult size. That would be awesome if it did!

So check out the picture, then watch the movie.

I feel so technically challenged! I finally got an ipod for my birthday, and have added some songs. Thank goodness for my niece! She was able to get me started. I also checked out a book, which I guess I'll have to read. I don't think some genie will come along and figure all out for me! One of the main reasons for getting an ipod was as an incentive to go to the gym. I figured I would go more if I had MY music to listen to. It's working.

I

I think that Habit #1 is the easiest for me. It is easier to get my job done if I can "see the light at the end of the tunnel." Knowing that satisfying feeling that comes when a job is complete makes the whole task easier. That feeling also forces me to get started. To be honest, I'd rather not learn all of this new technology, but I know in the end I'll appreciate knowing it. That's why Habit #6 is so hard for me. Life alot of people, I'd rather things stay the way they are. But our society is not that way, and I know it is better to keep up with it than to far fall behind.
